My career focus includes women’s health, mental health, global health, health policy, osteopathic manipulative medicine, and working in pharma.
I am a Paul Ambrose and Albert Schweitzer Fellowship alumni.
I’ve completed two years of Residency at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education before complications from a motor vehicle accident forced me to take a well-needed break.
I have been awarded multiple awards, grants, and scholarships throughout my education due to academic excellence, commitment to service and leadership, and I am continuously seeking opportunities to better myself.
I have participated in multiple sponsored medical mission trips to Costa Rica, Ethiopia, and Jamaica and continue to work with local charities to provide services needed both medically and personally.
For the past three years, I have worked in clinical care, treating and working with patients until the effects of COVID-19 played a significant role in my decision to change paths in my career.
I am the Founder of a nonprofit organization, Orthodox GEMS, where I mentor and empower female youth within the Orthodox Christian faith.
I have also done multiple talks and presentations within the local community, expounding on mental health, overall health and wellness, and providing osteopathic manipulations.

I am the mother of a 4-year-old son, who is going on 30! He keeps me on my toes and ensures that I am busy. He is my motivation for all that I do; I did not want to show him a quitter or to be an example of someone giving up or wasting my talents. He is the driving force for my perseverance.
I am also a sister and the baby of the family. My parents are my source of strength and my brother is my business guru.
I am a Jersey girl with roots in Maryland. I am a first-generation Jamaican-American. My culture plays a significant role in who I am. Reggae music keeps me serene and the food blissful!
I love cooking and baking, especially trying new or unique recipes! I have a sweet tooth that I am trying to tame.
I love to travel. My bucket list is to touch all the continents, all that I have left is Antarctica and Australia. To date, my top 3 favorite countries are Portugal, Ethiopia and Costa Rica. I love almost all things outdoors, especially zip-lining and water and adventures.
I consider myself to be an introvert with extrovert tendencies.
Most importantly, in all that I do and for all that I am, I give thanks to God for life!
Dr Sussie helped me with my measles, and I was fine within weeks. She’s really great and she’s my favourite doctor!
